Situated in Kingston, this project involved the full renovation of a two-bedroom apartment measuring approximately 900 sq. ft.. The homeowner’s goal was to elevate daily comfort and functionality while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.

A defining feature of this renovation was the installation of the ThermaSkirt smart heating system, an advanced solution that discreetly integrates hot-water pipes within the skirting boards. This innovative design merges performance with visual simplicity, freeing up floor space and preserving the apartment’s minimalist aesthetic.
The system’s installation was technically demanding, involving multiple consultations with the manufacturer and a month-long wait for specialized components. Despite these challenges, our team successfully completed the setup and calibration. The outcome exceeded expectations — the heating operates quietly, efficiently, and evenly, providing consistent warmth throughout the home. The homeowner praised both the result and our team’s professionalism and persistence in delivering a flawless finish.
2. Interior Lighting & Spatial Transformation
The apartment’s transformation centered on light and openness. The previously dim hallway now features recessed ceiling lighting, significantly enhancing brightness and spatial flow.
The living and dining areas — spanning approximately 200–250 sq. ft. — were unified with continuous wooden flooring and layered lighting zones, creating a warm yet functional environment.
The kitchen underwent a complete redesign, shifting from a closed layout to an open-plan configuration with a central island. Outfitted with premium Miele appliances — including an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, induction hob, and water filtration system — and finished with quartz countertops, it now serves as the elegant focal point of the home.
Both bedrooms and the bathroom were upgraded with new finishes and fixtures. The master bedroom includes custom-built wardrobes and newly refinished walls and floors, while the bathroom features precisely aligned ceramic tiling, a heated towel rail, and minimalist glass shelving — all contributing to a refined, modern look with subtle luxury.
3. System & Safety Upgrades
The renovation also included a complete electrical system overhaul, installation of new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a safety-controlled boiler system. The property now benefits from a Daikin zoned air conditioning system, providing personalized comfort and efficient climate control across all living areas.
