2. Structural Extensions & Steel Beam Installation
To create an expansive open-plan space, both front and rear extensions were structurally integrated into the main building. A single 8-metre steel beam — lifted into position by eight workers — supports the new layout. The concealed beam design ensures a clean, seamless ceiling line, merging the 3-metre extended section effortlessly with the existing structure.
3. Roof Design & Spatial Enhancement
The former flat-roof gable has been replaced with a pitched ceiling that enhances natural light and vertical space. The kitchen and dining areas now form one cohesive zone, while the entrance is redefined by a striking 2-metre full-height cabinet wall — offering both functionality and aesthetic harmony.
4. On-Site Progress & Finishing Preparation
The project is currently in the service-installation phase, with plumbing and electrical systems underway. Sanding, painting, and lighting layout adjustments are in progress. Temporary floor tiling has been applied for protection; the final flooring will follow once the underfloor heating system is fully calibrated. Protective coverings are in place across all active areas to ensure a pristine finish upon completion.
5. Utility Room Design & Equipment Layout
The utility room houses essential systems — including the boiler, consumer unit, and electric meter — with dedicated space for a washing machine. This thoughtful layout minimizes noise and maintains a peaceful atmosphere throughout the main living zones.
6. Upper-Level Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Upstairs, four spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms have reached the final finishing stage. Bathrooms feature elegant wood-textured feature tiles and contrasting cement-grey walls for a modern, refined look. Each includes wall-hung toilets with concealed cisterns to maximize space and deliver a clean, contemporary aesthetic.
